Pletaal 100mg Tablet must be taken frequently as the doctor advises. Consume it on an empty belly and at a set hour. This medication shouldn't be discontinued suddenly without the doctor. It may produce adverse symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, edoema, diarrhoea, dizziness, palpitation, stomach discomfort, flatulence, and edoema. Using this medication may increase bleeding risk. Immediately tell your doctor if you notice rash or blood in your vomit, urine, or stool. This medication may not fit certain individuals. You must tell the doctor if you have liver or renal problems. Also, let your doctor know about any other medicines you routinely use. Usually, this medication is not advised during pregnancy or nursing, so contact your doctor before using it.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
There is no clear contraindication on the consumption of alcohol when taking Pletaal 100mg Tablet 100s despite the potential adverse effects of dizziness and headache it presents.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Animal reproductive studies suggest teratogenicity while there are no adequate human pregnant studies to suggest otherwise. It is, therefore, not advisable to be used in pregnant women without specialist recommendation.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Pletaal 100mg Tablet 100s has been found in breastmilk according to animal studies and due to its potential serious side effects on the infant, it is not advisable to be used during breastfeeding.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
It is not advisable to drive when taking Pletaal 100mg Tablet 100s due to its potential side effects such as headache and dizziness which can affect the ability to drive and concentrate.
Kidney Warning (High Risk)
Dosage adjustment is needed in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment and is contraindicated to be used in patients with severe renal impairment.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Dosage adjustment is needed in patient with mild hepatic impairment while it is contraindicated to be used in moderate to severe hepatic impaired patients.
Quick Tips
Take Pletaal 100mg Tablet approximately half an hour or two hours after breakfast and dinner. It may take twelve weeks before your symptoms improve. Continue using as instructed by your doctor.
Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 4 weeks.
May cause dizziness. Use this medication with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention.
Do not take Pletaal 100mg Tablet if you have heart failure, chest discomfort, heart attack or heart surgery in the past six months.
