Introduction of Pulmicort 200mcg Turbuhaler 100 doses
Your doctor will advise you on how frequently you should take Pulmicort 200mcg Turbuhaler. The effects of this medication may be felt after a few days, but they will peak after a few weeks. This medication must be taken on a regular basis to be successful, therefore take it even if you are not experiencing any symptoms. The absence of symptoms indicates that the medication is working well.
Unscrew to remove cover and check dose counter to make sure there are still doses left inside. Hold turbuhaler upright while twisting grip. Load a dose by twisting the coloured base of the turbuhaler as far to the right as it can go and then back until a click is heard. Breathe out gently away from the turbuhaler and place mouthpiece between teeth without biting and form a good seal with your lips. Be sure not to cover the air vents. Breathe in strongly and deeply and hold your breath for 5-10 seconds or as long as comfortable. Remove inhaler from mouth. Breathe out gently away from the turbuhaler. If you need to repeat your dose, repeat the above steps. Replace cover once complete.

Warning Precautions
Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Inhaled Budesonide is is not advise to be used with Alcohol as it may cause dizziness.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Animal studies have shown that Inhaled Budesonide is harmful at high exposures. However, there is no data on the usage of Inhaled Budesonide in pregnancy and its adverse effects or risks to the fetus. It should only be used if the benefits outweigh the risk.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Although Inhaled Budesonide is excreted in breast milk, however, at therapeutic doses of Inhaled Budesonide has no effects on the suckling child are anticipated. Inhaled Budesonide can be used during breast feeding.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Inhaled Budesonide usually does not affect the ability to drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Inhaled Budesonide should be used with caution in patients with renal impairment, dose adjustment must be exercised.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
It should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Higher exposure of cortocosteriod side effect with reduced liver function.
