However, the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor before using it. SM Polytet Eye Ointment 3.5g may not be safe to be used in pregnancy as animal studies have shown adverse effects on the animal fetus. However, controlled studies on both animal and human are not yet available.
