How To Use Temodal 20mg Capsule 5s

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew or crush the capsule. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time if it is indicated for everyday use.

Side Effects

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Some of the side effects do not need medical attention and resolve as the body responds to the medication. Consult your doctor if they continue or if you are concerned about them

The most common side effects of this medication include nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache and fatigue. This medicine may reduce the number of blood cells in your blood by raising the susceptibility to infections.

Warning Precautions

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)

There are no known interactions between alcohol and Temodal 20mg Capsule 5s when used concomitantly. However, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment of cancer-related diseases. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)

Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicities but there are no clinical data on the use of Temodal 20mg Capsule 5s on pregnant women. Thus, it is not advisable to use Temodal 20mg Capsule 5s during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)

The excretion of Temodal 20mg Capsule 5s is not known in human milk. Thus, it is not advisable to use Temodal 20mg Capsule 5s during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.

Driving Warning (Not Advisable)

Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Temodal 20mg Capsule 5s may cause side effects such as tiredness and sleepiness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.

Kidney Warning (Use With Care)

Caution use of Temodal 20mg Capsule 5s has to be practised in patients with kidney impairment. Please consult your doctor.

Liver Warning (Limited Data)

Caution use of Temodal 20mg Capsule 5s has to be practised in patients with severe liver impairment. Please consult your doctor.

Quick Tips

Temodal 20mg Capsule should be taken with an empty stomach.
Do not miss a dose and complete the course as recommended by your doctor.
Using an effective birth control to prevent pregnancy when taking this medication.
Be cautious when shaving, clipping fingernails or toenails, or using sharp items. This improves the risk of bleeding.
Your doctor can conduct regular blood tests to control your blood cell count and liver function.
Tell your doctor if you experience extreme skin rash, fever, chills, headache and shortness of breath during treatment.

What If You Forget To Take

If you miss a dose of Temodal 20mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
