Alkeran 2mg Tablet used to help with several diseases as specified by the doctor. Alkeran 2mg Tablet should be administered on an empty stomach, but continue taking this medication at the same time every day. The doctor may determine what dosage is sufficient and how much you need to take it. This may depend on what you are being treated for and will vary from time to time. You should take it exactly as the doctor has prescribed. When using medication, tell the doctor if you experience bleeding, liver or renal issues or are using other medications to treat various ailments. This medicine is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.
Take the dosage and frequency of this medication as instructed by your doctor. Swallow it entirely. Don't chew, crush or break them. Alkeran 2mg tablet is taken on an empty stomach. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, and anemia (low number of red blood cells), which can lower the number of blood cells cells in your blood, thus increasing risk for infection. Routine blood checks are required to monitor your blood cells along with kidney, liver and heart function when taking this medication.
