UV-C (also known as germicidal UV) is a portion of the ultraviolet spectrum that is capable of inactivating pathogens such as bacteria and viruses. UV-C utilises certain ultraviolet wavelengths, typically between 200 and 280 nanometers.
Germicidal UV products can really alter the DNA and RNA of bacteria and viruses, rendering them incapable of reproduction.
