Introduction of Clarimycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip)
Clarimycin 250mg Tablet can be taken orally, one hour before or two hours after a meal is the best time to take this medication. 2 hours before or after taking this medication, no antacids should be taken. It should be taken on a regular basis, as directed by your doctor, at equally spaced time intervals. Even if you feel better, do not miss any doses and complete the whole course of therapy. Stopping the medication too soon may cause the illness to recur or worsen.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Alcohol will not reduce the effectiveness of your medicine. Avoid alcohol while you are receiving treatment for an infection. Alcohol can reduce your energy and delay your recovery.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Clarimycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from the use of Clarimycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Clarimycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) is excreted in human breast milk. The decision to breastfeed during therapy should consider the risk of infant exposure, the benefits of breastfeeding to the infant, and benefits of treatment to the mother.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Clarimycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting and headache, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Clarimycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Clarimycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Clarimycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Clarimycin 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
