Allergocrom Eye Drop is intended for external application only. Follow your doctor's recommendations and take this medication on a regular basis to receive the maximum benefit from this medication. You should carefully squeeze the dropper and gently put the medication into the lower eyelid, wiping away any excess liquid as you go. Always wash your hands after handling the dropper and avoid touching the tip of the dropper. This has the potential to infect your eye. If you use contact lenses, be sure to take them out and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in. If the seal of a bottle is broken before it is used for the first time, it should not be used. If your symptoms do not improve within 2 days, or if you need medication for a longer length of time, you should see your doctor immediately. Although it is usually considered safe to use, you may feel a stinging sensation after taking the medication. Inform your doctor if any of these annoy you or seem to be severe. It's possible that there are methods for decreasing or avoiding them. If you have an eye issue (glaucoma) or an untreated eye infection, you should not use this medication. Your doctor should also be aware of any other medications you are taking, since many of them may interfere with the effectiveness of this medication or alter its mechanism of action. This medication is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy or nursing; nevertheless, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, see your doctor.
This medicine is for external use only. Always wash your hands before and after applying eye drops. Tilt your head back and look upwards. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it to avoid contamination. Pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Whilst keeping the affected eye closed, gently press your finger against the corner of the closed eye (the side where the eye meets the nose) and hold for 1 minute. Wipe off any extra liquid. Wait for 5 minutes before administering another drop into that eye (of the same or different medication) to prevent drops from being washed out of the eye. Ensure to replace and tighten the cap straight after use or discard away any medication for single-use containers.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
