Brewer's yeast is a yeast that is used in the making of beer and bread. Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a one-celled fungus, is used to make it. The flavour of brewer's yeast is bitter.

Brewer's yeast can also be taken as a dietary supplement as in BioGrow Biogrow-Min Capsule. It's high in chromium, which may help your body keep blood sugar levels in check. It's also high in B vitamins.

Brewer's yeast's probiotic properties may help avoid diarrhoea. It has been used to treat different digestive issues such as antibiotic-induced diarrhea,  Inflammatory bowel syndrome, traveler's diarrhoea and lactose intolerance.
