Crestor 20mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called statins.
Crestor 20mg Tablet is a widely used medicine and is considered safe for long-term use. It may be taken with a meal or an empty stomach. You can take this medication at any time of the day so you can try to take it at the same time every day.
It is recommended that the cholesterol levels be checked regularly. This medicine is just one aspect of the recovery regimen and can also include proper diet, physical exercise, smoking reduction, alcohol consumption and weight loss. You should eat regularly while taking this medication, but try to avoid high fat foods. Do not take this medication if you are pregnant or planning to be conceived.
Some side effects do not need immediate attention and vanish as the body responds to the drug. Consult the doctor if they continue or if you are concerned about them
Common side effects of this medication include muscle pain, nausea, fatigue, headache, and stomach pain. They are usually mild and vanish after a short period of time. Consult the doctor whether if persists or whether you notice some yellowing of your eyes or repeated or unexplained muscle pain. Women who are pregnant and breast-feeding should take this drug with proper consultation and caution.
If you miss a dose of Crestor 20mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses within 12 hours.
