Dexilant 30mg Capsule's best to take Dexilant 30mg Capsule an hour before a meal, preferably first thing in the morning. The dose will be determined by your underlying disease as well as your response to the medication. Even if your symptoms go away fast, you should continue to take Dexilant 30mg Capsule as directed. By eating smaller meals more frequently and avoiding caffeinated drinks (such as tea and coffee) as well as spicy or fatty foods, you can improve the treatment's effectiveness. If you have serious liver issues, are on HIV medications, have ever had an allergic reaction to similar medicines, or suffer from bone loss, tell your doctor before using this treatment (osteoporosis). Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also seek medical advice.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew or crush the capsule. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Taking Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s with alcohol may have additive effects in worsening the side effects. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea and abdominal pain.
Pregnancy Warning (Maybe Safe)
Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s is not recommended to use during pregnancy. Both studies, either animal or human, cannot show the potential risk to the pregnancy or teratogenic risk to the fetus. The confirmation of Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s cannot be sure, thus, it may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s is probably safe to use during lactation. No observed data in both animal and human studies suggests the harmful risk of Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s to the baby. However, Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s is a R-isomer of lansoprazole, a drug that is excreted in human breast milk, so the benefits from use in breastfeeding mothers should be considered in both mothers and infants despite the risks. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Warning (Use With Care)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches or nausea, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. 51% of Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s's metabolites are excreted in the urine. Renal impairment will affect the excretion process and lead to the accumulation of the drug in the body. Dose adjustment of Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Patients with liver disease should use Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s with caution and use of Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease (Child-Pugh Class C). Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s is majorly metabolised by the enzyme in the liver. CYP2C19 enzyme helps in the hydroxylation of Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s and CYP3A4 enzyme do the oxidation of Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s. In absence of these enzymes in patients with liver disease will increase Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s concentration in the blood plasma. Dose adjustment of Dexilant 30mg Capsule 14s may be needed.
