This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
There could be certain side-effects associated with the usage of the medication. Please refer to the list below:-

Diarrhoea

Difficulty in swallowing

If you are feeling any other symptoms (whether it is mentioned in the above list or not), please consult with a doctor immediately. These symptoms become more prominent as when one is undergoing a long term therapy with this medication.

Dicetel Drug Interactions
Drug to drug interaction reaction of Dicetel varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
Anticholinergic drugs
This is an incomprehensive list of drug-to-drug interactions and conditions that might interfere with Dicetel function. Do inform your doctor about all your current medications prior to consuming this drug.

Alcohol Warning (Safe)
There is no known contraindication in alcohol consumption while taking Dicetel 100mg Tablet 20s.
Pregnancy Warning (Limited Data)
Animal reproductive data is insufficient while there is no human pregnancy data available to make a safe conclusion for the use of Dicetel 100mg Tablet 20s during pregnancy. It is thus best avoided unless the benefits outweigh the risks.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
It is not advisable to breastfeed when on Dicetel 100mg Tablet 20s treatment according to the manufacturer labelling.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Dicetel 100mg Tablet 20s is generally safe to be used before driving as the side effects profile does not suggest any disruption on the concentration or ability to drive. Do not drive if the side effects of Dicetel 100mg Tablet 20s affect the concentration and ability to drive.
Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
No dosage adjustment is needed for patients with renal impairment as indicated by the manufacturer labelling as systemic absorption is low.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
There is no dosage adjustment needed for patients with hepatic impairment according to the manufacturer labelling as systemic absorption is low.
