Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
There is no known interaction between Dorzolamide with alcohol. However, please consult your doctor before using it.It is not advisable to consume alcohol with Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s as research has found that the combination may increase the risk of breast cancer. Alcohol may increase the estrogen levels and thus, the extra estrogen and the synthetic Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s resulted in too much estrogen.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe - High Risk)
Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s is not recommended to use during pregnancy. Stop taking medication if users suspect of pregnancy. Both animal studies and human studies have limited data. Please consult your doctor before using it.Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s is contraindicated in pregnancy and thus the treatment should be withdrawn as soon as pregnancy is diagnosed.

Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s is not recommended for use in lactation as there is inadequate research data on its excretion into breast milk and its effect on feeding infants. Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s should not be used during breastfeeding.

Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease as it may cause side effects of fluid retention. Close monitoring of renal function is indicated in users with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s may be needed. Please consult your doctor before using it. In patients with renal dysfunction, they should be closely observed when using Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s as it may cause fluid retention.

Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s is mainly metabolized by the liver. Hence, it is not recommended as contraceptive for patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor before using it. It is recommended to avoid using Femoston 1/10 Tablet 28s in patients with liver disease. If required, it should not be given during acute illness and need to be administered preferably through the transdermal route. This route bypasses the liver and thus, will not interfere with the hepatic enzymes and proteins produced in the liver.

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Quick Tips

Take Femoston 1/10 Tablet regularly every day to help you remember to take it.
Menstrual irregularities, such as spotting or bleeding between periods or missed periods, are possible. Notify your doctor if it persist
Do not drink alcohol and caffeinated beverages while on Femoston 1/10 Tablet as it may further affect your condition.
To alleviate the symptoms, low-intensity exercise such as yoga will help. Avoid infrequent, high-impact activity.
While on Femoston 1/10 Tablet, make sure you get a regular breast exam (to check for lumps or other abnormal changes) and a cervical smear test.
Stop Femoston 1/10 Tablet immediately and notify your doctor if you experience unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain, severe headache, or changes in vision. These could be symptoms of a blood clot in a vein.
