It is safe to consume alcohol with Gentamicin-Pos 0.3% Eye Drop 5ml.
Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe)
Gentamicin-Pos 0.3% Eye Drop 5ml has shown evidence that there might be a risk to the human foetus. It is still plausible to be used if the benefits outweigh the risks. Therefore, please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning(Not Advisable)
Gentamicin-Pos 0.3% Eye Drop 5ml is found in small amounts in breast milk. It is therefore unsafe for breastfeeding as it may risk the infant's development.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Gentamicin-Pos 0.3% Eye Drop 5ml may cause side effects such as brief blurring of vision which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning(Use With Care)
If Gentamicin-Pos 0.3% Eye Drop 5ml is given via Parenteral route, dose adjustment is required for patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor to be safe before starting on Gentamicin-Pos 0.3% Eye Drop 5ml.

Introduction of Gentamicin-Pos 0.3% Eye Drop 5ml
The most common side effects of this medicine include flatulence (gas), stomach pain, and diarrhea. Please consult your doctor if these bother you or do not go away. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any kidney or liver problems. Do not take this medicine if you have ulceration or inflammation in the bowel (eg. ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Please tell your doctor about all the other medicines you are taking to make sure you are safe. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking this medicine as it may increase the risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels).
This medicine is for external use only. Hold the dropper close to the ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside your ear. This ear drop may also be administered via a saturated cottonwick gently placed into the ear canal. Ensure to replace and tighten the cap immediately after use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
