Consuming alcohol with Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) is best avoided.It is safe to consume alcohol in small amount while taking Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip). Large quantities of alcohol may increase the risk of liver side effects.
Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe)
Take with precaution in 1st and 2nd trimester but do not take during 3rd trimester of pregnancy here is a risk of premature closure of the foetal ductus arteriosus with possible persistent pulmonary hypertension.The onset of labour may be delayed and duration of labour increased, with increased bleeding tendency in both mother and child.There is no effect in pregnancy if Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) is used as the recommended dosage.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited Data)
In limited studies, Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) appears in the breast milk in very low concentrations and is unlikely to affect the breast-fed infant adversely.Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) is excreted in human breast milk in very small amount, therefore it is safe to use Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) during breastfeeding.

Kidney Warning(High Risk)
Use of Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be needed. Please consult your doctor. It is advisable to use Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) with caution in patients with severe renal impairment.
Liver Warning(Limited Data)
Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) is contraindicated in patients with severe liver disease as it is metabolised in the liver. It is advisable to use Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip) with caution in patients with severe liver impairment. The effects of overdose are greater in patients with non-cirrhosis alcoholic liver disease. Delayed in treatment of overdose may also cause serious damage to the liver.
Recommended dosage: Adult: Take 1 or 2 tablets up to FOUR times a day, use as required only. Maximum of 8 tablet in 24 hours. Not recommended for children.

How To Use Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet 10s (strip)
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Quick Tips
Take Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet with meals or milk to avoid stomach discomfort.
Long-term usage of Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet may induce gastrointestinal bleeding and renal issues.
Don't take antacids 2 hours before or after you take Maxigesic 500mg/150mg Tablet as it may reduce absorption of this medication and increase chances of stomach discomfort.
