Take Pariet 10mg Tablet one hour before a meal, ideally first thing in the morning. The dosage will be determined by your underlying disease as well as your response to the medication. As directed by your doctor, try to take it at the same time every day. Even if your symptoms go away fast, you should continue to take it as directed. You may be able to alleviate your symptoms by eating smaller meals more often and avoiding caffeinated beverages such as tea and coffee, as well as spicy or fatty foods. Nausea, vomiting, headaches, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhoea, and stomach discomfort are the most prevalent adverse effects associated with this medication. These are usually minor, but if they annoy you or do not go away, see your doctor. The longer you take this prescription, the more likely you are to have adverse effects. Long-term usage (over a year) may raise the risk of bone fractures, particularly at larger dosages. Talk to your doctor about taking calcium and vitamin D supplements to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis). Some persons who have been taking this prescription for three months or longer have had low blood magnesium levels (hypomagnesemia). Tiredness, disorientation, dizziness, muscular twitching, and an irregular heartbeat are all possible side effects. To avoid this, your doctor may check your magnesium levels. If you have serious liver issues, are on HIV medications, have ever had an adverse reaction to comparable drugs, or suffer from bone loss, notify your doctor before using this treatment (osteoporosis). Women who are pregnant or nursing should also seek medical advice before taking it. Drinking alcohol causes your stomach to create too much acid, which might exacerbate your symptoms. If this drug makes you dizzy or tired, do not drive or use equipment or tools.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
