Tanatril 5mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. Tanatril 5mg Tablet can be recommended either alone or in addition with other medicines. It should be taken with the stomach empty. This medicine should be taken at the same time of the day to make the most of the benefits. It should be continued on a daily basis, even if you feel well.
Making some changes to your lifestyle will also help with your condition. This can include physical exercise, weight loss, smoking cessation, reducing alcohol intake, and the amount of salt in your diet as advised by your doctor.
Before taking this medication, tell your doctor if you have any problems with your kidneys or your liver. Pregnant or breast-feeding mothers should also consult their doctor before taking the medicine. Your doctor can check your kidney function, blood pressure, and potassium levels in your blood at regular intervals while taking this medication.

The most common side effects of this medication include cough, decreased blood pressure, dizziness, fatigue, and weakness. Most of these are temporary and vanish as time passes. Speak to the doctor if you have any of the side effects that bother you or don't go away.
If you miss a dose of Tanatril 5mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
