Introduction of Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip)

It's best to take Tirlor 10mg Tablet first thing in the morning. Depending on what you're taking it for, the dosage may change. Take it exactly as your doctor has instructed. You may just need to take this drug on days when you have symptoms, or you may need to take it every day to avoid symptoms. If you stop taking it before the recommended time, your symptoms may return. This medication is usually considered to be highly safe. It is far less likely to make you tired when compared to other comparable drugs. However, it may produce dizziness, so don't drive or do anything else that requires concentration. If it continues or causes you concern, see your doctor. In certain situations, it may produce headaches or increase hunger. If you have any issues with your liver, kidneys, or heart, you should notify your doctor before taking it. Women who are pregnant or nursing should also seek medical advice before taking it. Alcohol should be avoided when taking this drug since it might induce extreme sleepiness.

How To Use Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip)

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Side Effects

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Besides these functions and uses of Loratadine, there are certain side effects that are related to this medication. Please refer to the list below:
  1. Pharyngitis
  2. Noisy breathing
  3. Stomach pain
  4. Bloody nose
  5. Conjunctivitis
  6. Allergies
  7. Diarrhea
  8. Dry mouth or lips
  9. Dizziness
  10. Tired or fatigue
  11. Pain at the ears
  12. Body ache

Although some of these symptoms usually happen, there are a few symptoms that rarely happen. If you experience any of these symptoms (either mentioned or not), please talk a doctor immediately. You also have to refer to a doctor if you experience blurring of vision or skin rashes. The above list may be incomplete and please also mention if you experience other symptoms than mentioned above. These symptoms might be revealed when one uses the medication for a long period of time.

Warning Precautions

Precautionary Steps of Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip)

Before taking Loratadine, please get a doctor’s advice especially if you have any of the following disease. Contraindications:
  • Allergic to Loratadine or any of its ingredients
  • Liver problems
  • Kidney problems
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Breastfeeding mothers
  • Pregnant ladies
  • Not to be used by children or babies

Please stop taking the Loratadine if you experience any symptom.

Reaction towards Loratadine:
  • Alcohol
  • Cimetidine
  • Erythromycin
  • Ketoconazole

Reaction differs according to an individual. You are advised to ask a doctor regarding any reactions that may occur with other medications or substances before taking Loratadine.

These are a few reactions between medication and diseases that is incomplete that might cause disturbance to Loratadine.

Before consuming the medication, please inform your doctor regarding other medicines that you are taking. Please also remember the following precautions:
  • Avoid exposure to excess sunlight
  • Avoid using this medication continuously
  • Alcohol might affect the liver if taken along with this medication

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip). Taking Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) with alcohol may also increase the risk of developing CNS depression

Pregnancy Warning (Safe If Prescribed)

Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be safe as animals study showed no teratogenicity and fetal malformation recorded. Data of over 1000 women studied also showed no any negative effects on the fetal development.

Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)

Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) is excreted into human breast milk hence should be avoided during lactation.

Driving Warning (Generally Safe)

Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney Warning (Use With Care)

Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with kidney impairment and in elderly patients with reduced kidney function since it is eliminated through the kidneys. Dose adjustment of Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) is needed. Please consult your doctor before use.

Liver Warning (Use With Care)

Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with liver disorder. Dose adjustment of Tirlor 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What If You Forget To Take

If you miss a dose of Tirlor 10mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
