Januvia 100mg Tablet 28s
RM 168.30
Januvia 100mg Tablet is used together with a balanced diet and regular exercise.
Januvia 100mg Tablet is usually administered when lifestyle changes alone or other medications do not seem effective. The doctor may prescribe it alone or with other medicines. It may be taken on an empty stomach or with a meal. The dosage may depend on your condition and blood sugar levels.
You should take medication consistently at the same time every day to get the most benefit, and you should not discontinue it until the doctor suggests it. It's essential to keep on your doctor's prescribed nutrition and exercise schedule when taking this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, let the doctor know whether you've ever had renal failure, cardiac or pancreatic issues, or whether you drink lots of alcohol. Before starting it, pregnant or breastfeeding women may also inform their doctor. Any other medications you're taking might interact with the function of this medication.
Many side effects do not need immediate medical attention and resolve as the body responds to the medicine. Tell the doctor if they continue or if you are concerned about them.
The most common adverse effect of taking this drug is headache. This is typically mild and decreases with time. Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) is a potential side effect if you also take other medications such as insulin or sulfonylurea, so you need to know how to identify and manage it. It can also induce upper respiratory tract infections such as sore throat, cough, and cold.
If you miss a dose of Januvia 100mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
