Lovir 400mg Tablet is an antiviral medicine.
Lovir 400mg Tablet should be taken at the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor. Do not miss any doses and complete the full course of medication, even though you feel better. Before taking it, dissolve it in a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food, but it is easier to take it at a fixed time. If you skip a dose, take it as soon as you can. However, if it's almost time for your next dose, skip the skipped dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. You should drink plenty of water when using this medication as it helps prevent dehydration and kidney damage.
Most side effects do not need medical attention and disappear as the body responds to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they continue or if you are worried about them
Some of the side effects of this medication include headache, dizziness, vomiting, nausea, fatigue, and fever. Inform your doctor if these side effects have not been resolved or will persist for a longer period of time. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant, plan to conceive or breast-feeding.
If you miss a dose of Lovir 400mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
