Mexomide 10mg Tablet is taken before meals, ideally before night, at the dosage and for the prescribed period as prescribed by the physician. The dosage that is prescribed to you will be determined by your medical condition and how you react to the medication. You should continue to take this medication unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. Inform your doctor of any other medicines you are taking since some of them may interact with, or be impacted by, this medication.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Mexomide 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) as alcohol potentiate sedative effect of Mexomide 10mg Tablet 10s (strip).
Pregnancy Warning (Maybe Safe)
Mexomide 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have not shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may outweigh the risk. Please consult your doctor before using.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
It is found that Mexomide 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) is excreted in minimal quantities in breast milk and not adequate to cause harmful effects. However, it is advisable to practice caution while taking Mexomide 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) during breastfeeding.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Mexomide 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) may cause side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness or abnormal muscle twitching, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Mexomide 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) dose should be adjusted in patients with renal impairment..
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Mexomide 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be cautionly use in patients with liver problem. Dose adjustment is advisable in this group of people.
Quick Tips
May cause dizziness. Use Mexomide 10mg Tablet with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention until you know how it affects you.
Do not drink alcohol while on Mexomide 10mg Tablet as it may further affect your condition and cause drowsiness.
Notify your doctor if you have watery diarrhoea, fever, or stomach discomfort that doesn't go away.
