Spizef 250mg Tablet should be taken with food to prevent stomach discomfort. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals, as recommended by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day is going to make you remember to take it. The dosage will depend on what you are being treated for, but you should still complete the full course as prescribed by your doctor.
Don't stop taking it until you're finished, even though you feel better. If you stop taking it early, it will make it less effective for potential infections.
Before using it, you can inform your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have issues with your kidneys or your liver. You should also inform your doctor about all other medications that you are taking, as they can affect or be affected by this medication. Pregnant and breast-feeding mothers should consult their doctor before using it.
Some of the side effects do not need medical attention and resolve as the body responds to the medication. Consult your doctor if they continue or if you are worried about them.
The most common side effects of this medication include rash, vomiting, increased liver enzymes, nausea and diarrhoea. These are generally mild, but let your doctor know if they affect you or last for more than a few days.
If you miss a dose of Spizef 250mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
