How To Use HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g

This medicine is for external use only. It should be applied to clean, dry and intact skin. Always wash your hands before and after using the gel. Take an appropriate amount and massage gently to the affected areas. Replace cap tightly after each use.

Side Effects

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
There could be certain side-effects associated with the usage of the medication. Please refer to the list below:-

  2. Local irritation 
  3. Erythema
  4. Peeling
  5. Burning
  6. Oily skin 
  7. Gram -ve folliculitis
  8. Dryness

While some these symptoms are more common, there are a few rare symptoms that could also occur. Precautionary Steps of HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g

Please consult a doctor especially before using T3 mycin. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-
  • Allergy to T3 mycin or any of its components
  • Hypersensitivity to lincomycin, clindamycin or propylene glycol
  • regional enteritis
  • ulcerative colitis 
  • antibiotic-related colitis
  • Upper resp tract infections
  • Pregnancy 
  • Children 
  • Newborn and infants

Please stop using this medication if you are experiencing these symptoms and conditions.

 
T3 mycin Drug Interactions

Drug to drug interaction reaction of T3 mycin varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.

  • erythromycin

Alcohol Warning (Safe)

There is no known interaction of HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g topical with alcohol.

Pregnancy Warning (Maybe Safe)

Topical HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g maybe used during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies do not demonstrate adverse effects on fetus with the use of topical HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g, and there are no adequate studies in pregnant women. This medication should only be used after the benefits and risks have been weighed properly. Please consult the doctor before using HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g.

Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)

It is not known whether HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g is excreted into the human breastmilk. It is not advisable to apply topical HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g on the chest to avoid accidental contact with the infant.

Driving Warning (Generally Safe)

HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g is for external application. Therefore, it does not interfere with the ability to drive.

Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)

HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g can be used in patients with kidney issues.

Liver Warning (Limited Data)

HOE T3 Mycin 1% Gel 25g is not used for internal consumption and the amount absorbed into the circulatory system also is negligible to cause any effect , therefore, safe to be used even in a patient with liver impairment.

  • It may take a long time before your acne starts to improve. Be patient and keep using T3 Mycin 1% Gel consistently.
  • Cleanse your skin with a mild cleanser and allow skin to dry before applying T3 Mycin 1% Gel.
  • Apply T3 Mycin 1% Gel as a thin layer onto clean, dry, unbroken skin affected by acne.
  • When you initially start using T3 Mycin 1% Gel, you may get a stinging sensation or a warm sensation. If the problem persists, contact your doctor.
  • Avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth. If inadvertent exposure occurs, quickly rinse with water.
  • Stop using T3 Mycin 1% Gel and inform your doctor if you notice any irritation or infection on the site of treatment.
