If possible, Ticlid 250mg Tablet should be taken with meals and at the same time each day to avoid side effects. You must continue taking this medication on a regular basis even if you are feeling well. This medication may raise your risk of having a stroke if you stop using it suddenly. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, rash, and a reduction in white blood cell count are the most frequent adverse effects associated withuse. It is possible that some individuals may have bleeding as a side effect of this medication. This may manifest itself as bruises, nose bleeds, blood in urine or stools (especially black-colored faeces), or heavier periods than normal in females. Contact your doctor as soon as possible if the bleeding continues or causes you concern. For some individuals, Strokan 250mg Tablet is not an appropriate treatment option. Take it with caution if you have bleeding from any part of your body, such as a stomach ulcer or bleeding inside the brain, or if you have severe liver issues, or if you have difficulties with blood formation (eg. aplastic anemia, neutropenia, etc.). Before beginning this medication, your doctor will do a complete blood count (CBC), and he or she will continue to monitor it on a regular basis during therapy. It may be necessary to temporarily discontinue this medication prior to scheduled surgery or dental procedures.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Warning Precautions
Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Taking alcohol while you are on Ticlid 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) may increase the chance of bleeding in your gastrointestinal tract (GIT)
Pregnancy Warning (Maybe Safe)
Since there are no controlled data in human pregnancy for Ticlid 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) and animal studies couldn't demonstrate a risk to the fetus, therefore this medication is advised to be given only when it benefits the pregnant lady
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
It is not known whether Ticlid 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) is excreted in the breast milk of humans, however, it is excreted in the rat's milk upon research. The decision to continue or stop breastfeeding has to be made by the doctor. Please consult your doctor for further information.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Ticlid 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) may cause side effects such as dizziness, headches or nausea, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
There is limited study, however, the use of this drug will decrease its plasma clearance and increase bleeding time in a patient with renal impairment. Please consult your doctor before taking this medication.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
There is a limited study done for the use of Ticlid 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) in patients suffering from the hepatic disease. However, since Ticlid 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) is metabolized in the liver, the adjustment of the dosage has to be made by the doctors before initiating the therapy. The use of Ticlid 250mg Tablet 10s (strip) is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic disease.
