The dosage regimen of the Valcyte 450mg tablet should be administered as advised by your doctor. Do not delay any doses and, even though you feel better, follow the entire course of medication. It should be taken with food. Take it as soon as possible if you miss a dose. But, if it is almost time for the next dose, postpone the skipped dose and go back to the daily regimen. Do not double the dose.
Many side effects require minimal medical assistance and fades as the body responds to the medicine. Speak to the doctor if they continue or if you are particularly worried.
This may contribute to a few typical side effects, such as fever, diarrhea, fatigue, anemia, low levels of white blood cells, and low levels of platelets. If these side effects continue over a prolonged time, inform the doctor.
If you are pregnant, preparing to conceive, or breastfeeding, please speak to your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Valcyte 450mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
