Amaryl 3mg Tablet is a prescription medication. Amaryl 3mg Tablet can be used alone or with other medications. It should be consumed before or with the day's first meal. Take it at the same time every day consistently to get the best results. Your doctor will determine which dosage is appropriate for you, and this will vary based on your blood sugar levels from time to time. Continue taking this medication, even though you feel much better or your blood sugar level is controlled. You can increase blood sugar, and risk kidney injury, blindness, nerve problems, and loss of limbs if you stop it without consulting your doctor. Know that it is just part of the recovery regimen which as the doctor advises, should include a balanced diet, daily exercise, and weight management. Your blood sugar levels should be routinely recorded and your doctor would also advise blood testing to monitor your blood count and function of your liver.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
