Avelox 400mg is a prescription medicine for bacterial infection. It should be used based on the dosage and duration of tablet as instructed by your doctor. It should ideally be taken with or without food at a set time. Do not miss doses and complete the whole treatment even though you feel better. A double dosage should not be taken to make up for the missed dose. Only take the next dose as usual. This medication can not be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Extra precautions should be taken when consuming this medication in people with kidney disorders.
As side effects of this medication, you may experience fever, dizziness and nausea. These are usually reversible so please refer with your doctor if it bothers or occur for a longer period of time. Diarrhea can also be a side effect, so you can quit until the course is over. If it still persists, or if you see blood on your stools, consult your doctor.
