The medication Cataflam Drop should be taken in the amount and for the time prescribed by your doctor. It is recommended that you take it with food or milk to avoid stomach discomfort. You should tell your doctor if you have a family history of heart disease or a recent stroke.
Be sure to check the label for directions before using the medication. Measure it using the marked dropper and take it as advised. It is better to take this medication at the same time.

Very rare: Tingling, numbness in the fingers, tremor, blurring of vision, double vision, hearing loss, tinnitus, sleeplessness, nightmares, mood changes, anxiety, depression, disorientation, loss of memory, constipation, glossitis, change in taste, mouth ulcers, problems with the esophagus, pancreatitis, disorders of the lower gut, inflammation of the blood vessels, inflammation of the lungs, blood disorders, kidney or liver problems, presence of blood or protein in the urine, skin rash that is worsened by sunlight, hair loss
While some these symptoms are more common, there are a few rare symptoms that could also occur. If you are feeling any other symptoms (whether it is mentioned in the above list or not), please consult with a doctor immediately. Please, consult with a doctor if you are having rashes or blurry visions. Report if you experience any other symptoms as the above list may not be exhaustive. These symptoms become more prominent as when one is undergoing a long term therapy with this medication.

Allergy to Cataflam Drops or any of its components
Hypersensitivity to Cataflam Drops or any of its components
Allergy to acetylsalicylate acids (ibuprofen or diclofenac)
Peptic ulcer disease
Perforated bowel, bleeding in the bowel, tarry stool, bloody stool
Severe kidney or liver disease
Cardiovascular diseases such as uncontrolled hypertension, congestive cardiac failure, ischaemic heart disease, heart attack, angina, stroke, peripheral arterial disease
Asthma, allergic rhinitis, other breathing problems
Ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease
Porphyria
Dehydration from illness, diarrhea, before or after a major surgery
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding

Drug to drug interaction reaction of Cataflam Drops varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
Antidiabetic medication
Anticoagulants (eg: warfarin)
Diuretics
Lithium
Methotrexate
Ciclosporin, tacrolimus, trimethoprim

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is advisable to avoid or limit alcohol intake while taking Cataflam Drops 15ml. This is because alcohol can irritate the stomach and may cause gastrointestinal bleeding.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Category B warning for topical Cataflam Drops 15ml 3% gel Category C warning for all preparations in women with less than 30 weeks gestation pregnancy Category D warning for all preparations in women with more than 30 weeks gestation pregnancy
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
There is limited data on the usage of Cataflam Drops 15ml during breastfeeding. It is found that Cataflam Drops 15ml is excreted in very little quantities in breast milk and not adequate to cause harmful effects. However, it is advisable to practice caution while taking Cataflam Drops 15ml during breastfeeding.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Cataflam Drops 15ml usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are well.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
In patients with renal impairment, it is important to use this drug with caution as NSAIDs may cause kidney function to deteriorate. Since Cataflam Drops 15ml is eliminated mainly by the kidneys, close monitoring is required for patients with significant impairment of kidney function.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Cataflam Drops 15ml should be used with caution in patients with liver disease as there is an increased risk of gastrointestinal hemorrhage and fluid retention. Patients with severe liver disease should try to avoid taking Cataflam Drops 15ml.
