Betawin 50mg Tablet 10s (strip)
RM 11.00
Betawin Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers.
It can be prescribed on its own or with other medicines. The dosage and duration depend on what you are taking and the severity of your condition. It can be taken empty stomach or with a meal, but take it consistently at the same time daily to ensure the most of the benefit. It might take a couple of weeks before you get the full benefit of this drug, and you may need to take it for the rest of your life. It is important, however that you continue to take it even if you feel well.
Pregnant or breast-feeding mothers should also consult their doctor before taking it. You need to speak to your doctor if this drug is safe for you to use. You should get your blood pressure tested frequently to make sure that this drug works properly. Stop drinking alcohol as it can increase some of the side effects.
Most side effects do not need medical attention and vanish as the body responds to the drug. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you are worried about them
The main side effects of this drug are unexpected lowering of blood pressure, slow heart rate, headache, dizziness and nausea. They are generally mild and short-lived. It may also cause shortness of breath or low blood pressure in certain people. Your doctor would usually begin the drug at a low dosage to reduce the risk of side effects and gradually raise it. Consult the doctor if the side effects are concerning you or are not going away.
