Creon 10000 Capsule should be taken during or immediately after a meal or a snack with plenty of water. This allows the enzymes to combine with the food so that they can help digest it. The dosage you are given will depend on your condition and how you react to the medication. You should take this medication until your doctor recommends you to stop taking it. You will take it for long-term, so get into a routine and make sure you take it on a regular basis. Creon 10000 Capsule may only be part of the treatment, which also may require a special diet.
You should inform your doctor whether you have other conditions.You shouldn't consume this medication if you are undergoing diabetic treatment. You're not allowed to take it at the same time as an antacid. Speak to the doctor whether you are pregnant or breast-feeding to make sure it is safe for you. While you are taking it, your doctor may conduct routine blood tests to make sure it benefits you.
Almost all of the side effects do not require any medical attention and resolve as the body responds to the drug. Consult the doctor if they continue or if you are concerned about them.
The most common side effects of this drug include diarrhoea, abdominal pain and bloating. If they bother you or don't go away, let your doctor know. There may be ways to avoid or reduce these effects.
If you miss a dose of Creon 10000 Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
