How To Use Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip)

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Side Effects

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

So many side effects of this medication does not require any medical attention and it resolve as the body responds to the medication. Consult the doctor if they continue or if you are worried about them.

Bleeding is the most common side effect seen with this medication. This can be in the form of bruises, bleeds of the nose, blood in the urine or stools (black-colored stools) or more severe periods than normal in women. If you cut or hurt yourself, it can take longer than normal to stop bleeding. Such bleeding episodes are typically mild and resolve on their own. However, if bleeding continues or you are concerned, you can contact your doctor immediately.


Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Dyspepsia, Hematoma, Bruising, Epistaxis, Bleeding at puncture site, Steven-Johnson syndrome, Myalgia, Hematuria

Please consult a doctor especially before taking Kogrel. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-

  • Hypersensitivity

Kogrel Drug Interactions

Drug to drug interaction reaction of Kogrel varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.

Alcohol Warning (Safe)

It is safe to take alcohol with Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip). However, it is advisable to consume alcohol in moderate amount because drinking too much alcohol while on Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip) might irritate the stomach.

Pregnancy Warning (Maybe Safe)

Animal studies have failed to prove that there is a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate human studies. As no data is available, it is recommended not to use Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip) during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)

There is limited human data on whether Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip) is excreted in human breast milk. Animal studies demonstrated that Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip) is excreted in breast milk. It is advisable that breastfeeding is discontinued following treatment with Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip).

Driving Warning (Generally Safe)

Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Kidney Warning (Use With Care)

There is limited study on the usage of Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip) in patients with renal impairment. This, it is recommended that Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip) should be used with caution in such patients.

Liver Warning (Limited Data)

There is limited experience in patients with liver disease who may have bleeding tendencies. In such a population, Kogrel 75mg Tablet 7s (strip) need to be used with caution.

Quick Tips

  • Take Kogrel 75mg Tablet after meal, preferably at the same time every day to help you remember.
  • Be cautious when shaving, using sharp objects, or removing fingernails or toenails. Inform your doctor immediately if the bleeding does not stop.
  • Do not stop taking Kogrel 75mg Tablet without consulting your doctor, as this may raise the risk of developing another underlying disorder.
  • Your doctor may advise you to stop taking Kogrel 75mg Tablet temporarily if you are expected to undergo surgery or dental treatment.

What If You Forget To Take

If you miss a dose of Kogrel 75mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
