Alcohol Warning(Not Advisable)
GI bleeding, ulceration or perforation has been reported with NSAIDs at any time during treatment. Consuming alchol while on Melgesic 250mg Capsule 10s (strip) are added risk factors.
Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe)
NSAIDs should not be used during the first two trimesters of pregnancy or labour unless the potential benefit to the patient outweighs the potential risk to the foetus. Melgesic 250mg Capsule 10s (strip) is contraindicated during 3rd trimester of pregnancy due to risk of closure of the ductus arteriosus, delayed onset of labour and risk of bleeding to mother and child.
Breastfeeding Warning(Not Advisable)
Melgesic 250mg Capsule 10s (strip) is probably unsafe to use during lactation as it is excreted into human breast milk and is transmitted to the child.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Melgesic 250mg Capsule 10s (strip) may cause side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness or visual disturbances, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning(Use With Care)
Melgesic 250mg Capsule 10s (strip)'s mechanism of action which reduces prostaglandin synthesis can cause renal failure. Hence, it should be used with caution in patients with kidney impairment, in elderly patients and diuretics users. Please consult your doctor before usage.
Liver Warning(Use With Care)
Melgesic 250mg Capsule 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with liver disorder because it is the main site of metabolism. Liver function test should be monitored. Please consult your doctor before usage
Recommended dosage: Adult and children above 14 years: Take 1-2 capsules up to 3 times daily after a meal. Do not exceed usage for more than 7 days continuously. Not recommended for children below 14 years.

Introduction of Melgesic 250mg Capsule 10s (strip)
Melgesic 250mg Capsule may be taken with or without meals. What you take it for and how effectively it treats your symptoms will determine the dosage and duration. Even if you feel better, you should remain taking the prescription until your doctor says it's okay to stop.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew or crush the capsule. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
