Nebilet 5mg Tablet may be given alone or along with other medicines. The dosage and frequency depend on what you are taking it for and the severity of your illness. It may be taken empty stomach or with a meal, but take it consistently at the same time each day to receive the greatest effect. It may take many weeks before you receive the full effect of this medication and you may need to take it for the rest of your life. However, it is essential to continue taking it even if you feel well. Most individuals with high blood pressure do not feel sick and if you stop taking it, your condition may worsen. Lifestyle modifications including low-fat diet, exercise, and no smoking assist to improve the functioning of this medication. The major adverse effects of this medication include tiredness, headache, sluggish heart rate, feeling disoriented, and nausea. These are generally moderate and short-lived. It may also induce shortness of breath or low blood pressure in certain individuals. To minimise the chance of adverse effects your doctor will probably start the medication at a low dosage and gradually raise it. Consult your doctor if the side effects concern you or do not go away. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver issues. It may also not be appropriate for individuals who have a sluggish heart rate, severe circulation issues, severe heart failure, or low blood pressure. Pregnant or nursing moms should also contact their doctor before using it. You must speak to your doctor to find out if this medication is appropriate for you to take. You should get your blood pressure tested frequently to make sure that this medication is functioning correctly. Avoid consuming alcohol since it may aggravate some adverse effects.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Intake of Nebilet 5mg Tablet 28s and alcohol simultaneously may accentuate the side effects of Nebilet 5mg Tablet 28s such as dizziness, headache, fainting and change in the heart rate.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Nebilet 5mg Tablet 28s may cause harmful effects on foetus as it will reduce blood supply to the foetus, rendering them growth retardation, abortion, early labour or intrauterine death. Hence it should not be used unless it is clearly necessary.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Nebilet 5mg Tablet 28s is found to be excreted in animal's breast milk. Human studies haven't been conclusive yet so it is not recommended for pregnant patients to be on Nebilet 5mg Tablet 28s as the effects to infants are not known.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Nebilet 5mg Tablet 28s usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Nebilet 5mg Tablet 28s may require dose adjustments for patients with kidney disease so consult your doctor before starting this drug as it is excreted via the kidney.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
The studies done on Nebilet 5mg Tablet 28s and patients with liver impairment are limited, therefore it is contraindicated for these patients for now.
Quick Tips
Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is advised while on this medication.
Do not abruptly stop this medication without consulting your doctor as it may cause your blood pressure to increase too quickly, raising your risk of heart attack and stroke.
