Pantium 20mg Tablet 100s
RM 93.90
Pantium 20mg Tablet is often used to reduce acidity that can be seen from repeated use of painkillers. It refers to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This medication can be taken one hour before food, preferably in the morning. The dosage will depend on the underlying diagnosis and how you adapt to the medicine.
Before taking this medicine, you must inform the doctor whether you have serious liver complications, whether you are taking HIV medication, if you have had an adverse reaction to similar medicines in the past, or whether you have bone loss (osteoporosis). Pregnant or breast-feeding women should also notify their doctor before consuming it.
Many side effects require minimal medical assistance and fades as the body responds to the medicine. Speak to the doctor if they continue or if you are particularly worried.
The most common side effects seen with this medicine include nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhea, and stomach pain. These symptoms are generally mild, but if they concern you and prolongs, contact your doctor. A higher risk of adverse effects is seen with long-term use. For example, taking this medicine for more than 1 year may increase your incidence of side effects.
If you miss a dose of Pantium 20mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
