Spiriva Respimat 2.5 mcg Inhalation Solution is only intended for inhalation, it is not recommended that you ingest the pill. The first dosage is administered under medical supervision in order to avoid the occurrence of adverse effects during the first period of usage. It is recommended that you take it at the same time every day in order to get the best effects. The dosage and frequency with which you take it are determined by the condition for which you are taking it. Your doctor will determine how much treatment you will need to alleviate your symptoms. You should continue to take this medication for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you. Consequently, always have your medical inhaler in your possession in case of an emergency breathing difficulty or asthma attack that has already begun. In addition to nasal dryness or itching, nose bleeds, and dry mouth or throat are some of the most frequent adverse effects of this medication. Inform your doctor if any of these annoy you or seem to be severe. It's possible that there are methods for decreasing or avoiding them. It is recommended that you boost your water intake, carry sugar sweets, or practise excellent dental hygiene in order to combat dry mouth. Inform your doctor if you have liver or renal disease, or if you are pregnant or nursing before beginning treatment with this medication. Your doctor should also be aware of any other medications you are taking, since many of them may interfere with the effectiveness of this medication or alter its mechanism of action.
