Animal studies have demonstrated adverse effects on the fetus such as cleft palate and intra-uterine growth retardation, however, there are inadequate human studies. Potential benefits may justify the usage of Elomet 0.1% Lotion 30ml in pregnancy despite the risks. Infants whose mothers received corticosteroids in pregnancy must be monitored carefully for hypoadrenalism.Elomet 0.1% Lotion 30ml Topical may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. Quick Tips
Elomet 0.1% Lotion should be applied as a thin layer to the afflicted regions two or three times daily, or as directed by your doctor.
Do not apply Elomet 0.1% Lotion more than recommended by the doctor
Unless instructed by a doctor, do not cover the area being treated with airtight coverings such as bandages, as this may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Stop applying Elomet 0.1% Lotion and see your doctor if you believe the region of skin you're treating has gotten infected.
