It is safe to consume alcohol while using Elomet 0.1% Ointment 15g.As Elomet 0.1% Ointment 15g Topical is used topically, the risk of interacting with alcohol consumed is negligible.
Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe)
Animal studies have demonstrated adverse effects on the fetus such as cleft palate and intra-uterine growth retardation, however, there are inadequate human studies. Potential benefits may justify the usage of Elomet 0.1% Ointment 15g in pregnancy despite the risks. Infants whose mothers received corticosteroids in pregnancy must be monitored carefully for hypoadrenalism.Elomet 0.1% Ointment 15g Topical may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from the use of Elomet 0.1% Ointment 15g Topical in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited Data)
It is not known whether Elomet 0.1% Ointment 15g or its metabolites are excreted in human breast milk. Quick Tips
Elomet 0.1% Ointment should be applied as a thin layer to the afflicted regions two or three times daily, or as directed by your doctor.
Do not apply Elomet 0.1% Ointment more than recommended by the doctor
Unless instructed by a doctor, do not cover the area being treated with airtight coverings such as bandages, as this may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Stop applying Elomet 0.1% Ointment and see your doctor if you believe the region of skin you're treating has gotten infected.
If your skin condition has not improved after 2 weeks of therapy, see your doctor.
