Side Effects
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Like all medicines, this can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Some symptoms need immediate medical attention:
Allergic reactions
Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat
Trouble breathing or swallowing
Itching and hives
Common side effects include:
Dizziness
Low blood pressure, with or without symptoms like dizziness and fainting when standing up.
Decreased kidney function (signs of renal impairment)
If you get any side effects that persist or are severe, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed.
Consult your doctor of your medication history. Do not take with:
Medicines that lower blood pressure, especially water tablets (diuretics), ACEinhibitors, or aliskiren
Medicines that increase the amount of potassium in your blood.
Painkillers (NSAIDs).
Antibiotics (rifamycin group), or an antiretroviral medicine (ritonavir).
Lithium,
ACE-inhibitor together with mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist (MRA) or beta-blockers

It is not advisable to take alcohol with Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s as it would worsen the adverse reactions such as dizziness, headache, and nausea.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s is likely to be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Studies have shown positive evidence of human fetal risk. However, in certain conditions, the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Limited human data suggests that Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s does not represent a significant risk to the baby. It is not recommended during lactation as there are better drugs with established safety efficacy during nursing.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s may affect the efficiency of renal function. In particular conditions such as renal artery stenosis, Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s is contraindicated to be used. Thus, the dose adjustment of Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s may be needed for mild and moderate hepatic impairment. Severe liver disease is one of the contraindications for prescription of Sandoz Valsarta Film Coated 160mg Tablet 28s. Please consult your doctor.
