Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe)
Univate 0.05% Cream 15g may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from the use of Univate 0.05% Cream 15g in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited Data)
Univate 0.05% Cream 15g is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Animals studies showed Univate 0.05% Cream 15g is excreted in the milk of rats. Limited human data suggests that Univate 0.05% Cream 15g does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Univate 0.05% Cream 15g usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(Safe If Prescribed)
Univate 0.05% Cream 15g is safe to be used in patients with kidney impairment.
Liver Warning(Limited Data)
Univate 0.05% Cream 15g is generally safe for patients with liver disease.

This medicine is for external use only. It should be applied to clean, dry and intact skin. Massage gently to affected areas to facilitate cream absorption. Always wash your hands before and after using this cream. Replace cap tightly after each use.

It is not recommended for children & neonates. Please keep it out of reach from them

Univate Drug Interactions
Use of Univate is not likely to cause any significant drug interactions. However, it is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
Do inform your doctor about all your current medications prior to using this drug.
Keep the following precautions in mind as well:-
Avoid excess exposure to sunlight
Avoid this medicine for a longer use
Do not use for extensive body surfaces
Do not use together with occlusive dressings
Do not use in infants and children. Keep out of reach from them.
Do not use in areas where skin is thinner (eg: face, eyes, anogenital region)
Do not use on open sores or infected skin
Do not consume this medication
If the inflammatory lesions have become infected, appropriate antimicrobial medication should be used.
If there is spread of the infection, withdraw the corticosteroid.
Do not use more than 50 g per week
Tell your doctor if you have any other diseases or if you are taking any other medication
Do not discontinue the prescribed course

Quick Tips
Univate Cream 0.05% should be applied as a thin layer to the afflicted regions two or three times daily, or as directed by your doctor.
Unless instructed by a doctor, do not cover the area being treated with airtight coverings such as bandages, as this may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Stop applying Univate Cream 0.05% and see your doctor if you believe the region of skin you're treating has gotten infected.
If your skin condition has not improved after four weeks of therapy, see your doctor.
Univate Cream 0.05% should not be used for more than 4 weeks
