How To Use E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g
This medicine is for external use only. It should be applied to clean, dry and intact skin. Always wash your hands before and after using the gel. Take an appropriate amount and massage gently to the affected areas. Replace cap tightly after each use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
It is safe to consume alcohol with E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g. However, consuming E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g with alcohol may delay its absorption. Please consult your doctor before use. Using alcohol with E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g may cause unfavourable interactions to occur whether it is used systemically or topically. Discuss with your healthcare professional the use of your medicine with alcohol.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Use of E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g is acceptable during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies do not demonstrate adverse effects on the fetus, and there are no adequate studies in pregnant women. This medication should only be used when there is a clear indication of infection. Please consult your doctor before use. Though there is a limited amount of data from the use of E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g in pregnant women but there is a high risk of severe malformation of the fetus, particularly if given during the first trimester, therefore, it must not be used during pregnancy, especially during the first trimester unless the condition of the mother requires treatment with E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g is probably safe to use during lactation. E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g is shown to be excreted in breast milk but only low concentration of the medication is found in fetal plasma. However, this medication should still be used with caution. Please consult your doctor before use. It is excreted into the breast milk. Discontinue breastfeeding once E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g therapy is initiated
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Do not drive unless you are feeling well. E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g may cause side effects such as dizziness, headches, nausea or palpitations, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g is safe to be used in patients with kidney impairment. E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g should use with caution in a patient with impaired kidney functions. A renal profile may be done before starting E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g therapy and the first month after initiating it.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g should be used with caution in patients with liver disorder. Dose adjustment of E-Sol Gel (Efasol Gel) 10g may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Tell your doctor if you have any liver diseases since it is metabolized in the liver. Your doctor might have to adjust the dose accordingly. Monitoring is also needed as it can cause liver toxicity.
