Liobac 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without meals. In general, you should aim to take the least quantity of medication required to manage your symptoms for the shortest period feasible. While you are on this medication, you should take it on a regular basis. If you skip a dosage, the medication will become less effective.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
It is not advisable to consume alcohol and Liobac 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) together as the depressant additive effects of central nervous system can be augmented.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Human pregnancy data have been showing some adverse effects on the newborn baby as Liobac 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) does cross the placenta. However, teratogenicity and fetal toxicity has not been reported. Use of Liobac 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be weighted if the benefit outweighs the risk.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Liobac 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) is present in the human breastmilk. Breastfeeding can be continued if the concentration of Liobac 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) is low but precautionary measure should be taken.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
It is not advisable to drive or operate machinery when taking Liobac 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) due to side effects such as dizziness and headache which can affect the ability to concentrate.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Patient with mild to moderate renal impairment will be needing dose adjustment while the use in severe renal impairment need a specialist evaluation to weigh in the potential benefit and risk.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
There are no proper studies involving Liobac 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) and patient with hepatic impairment. Liver is not involve majorly in Liobac 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) metabolism but may elevate liver enzymes. Caution should be taken when taking Liobac 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) in a patient with hepatic impairment.
