Warning Precautions

Alcohol Warning (Safe)

There is no clear contraindication of the consumption of alcohol when taking Monurol Granule 1s.

Pregnancy Warning (Maybe Safe)

Animal studies have been shown to be safe for fetal development but no adequate data to suggest the same on human pregnancy study or to suggest harm either. Caution should be taken when commencing someone on Monurol Granule 1s during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)

Monurol Granule 1s has been found in human breastmilk but there is limited human data to suggest harm to the breastfed infants. It should be used only if there are no other alternatives.

Driving Warning (Not Advisable)

It is not advisable to drive when taking Monurol Granule 1s due to its potential side effects such as headache and visual disturbance which can affect the ability to drive and concentrate.

Kidney Warning (Use With Care)

Monurol Granule 1s is excreted via urine and dosage adjustment is needed in patients with renal impairment.

Liver Warning (Limited Data)

There is no need for dosage adjustment according to the manufacturer labelling as Monurol Granule 1s is not metabolised by the liver.

Quick Tips

Monurol Granule Solution was given by your doctor to treat your infection and alleviate symptoms.
Complete the whole course of therapy. Do not miss any doses even if you are feeling better to avoid reoccurence.
Dissolve Monurol Granule Solution in a glass of water and drink promptly, preferably at bedtime, 2 hours after meals (after emptying the bladder).
Diarrhea may develop as a side effect, but it should subside after your treatment is over. If it doesn't go away or if you see blood in your faeces, contact your doctor.
Do not drink alcohol and ceffeinated drinks while on Monurol Granule Solution as it can further affect your condition.
Stay hydrated with plenty of water while on Monurol Granule Solution.
Stop takingMonurol Granule Solution and notify your doctor immediately if you get a skin rash, neck swelling, or trouble breathing while on it.
