Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
There are mixed and inadequate data to conclude the safety profile of Chlorpheniramine in pregnant women. It may be safe to use in the first and second trimester but may increase the risk of premature neonates if used in the third trimester.There is no effect in pregnancy if Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s is used as the recommended dosage.There is no effect in pregnancy if Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s is used as the recommended dosage.Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s may be unsafe to be used during pregnancy. Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s is present in small quantity in human breastmilk and can cause drowsiness on the infant. Close monitoring is required if using Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s during breastfeeding or using second generation of anti-histamine.Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s is excreted in human breast milk in very small amount, therefore it is safe to use Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s during breastfeeding.Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s is excreted in human breast milk in very small amount, therefore it is safe to use Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s during breastfeeding.Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s can pass into breast milk. Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Although no dosage adjustment is indicated by the manufacturer labelling, precautionary measure with dosage adjustment may be needed in moderate to severe hepatic impaired patient due to Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s being metabolised by the liver.It is advisable to use Panadol Cold & Flu D Caplet 12s with caution in patients with severe liver impairment. The effects of overdose are greater in patients with non-cirrhosis alcoholic liver disease.
