Tolura 40mg Tablet can be used either independently or in together with other medication. It can be taken during the day or at night with or without eating.
Try to take it daily at the fixed time, to get the optimal benefits. Even though you feel better, it is vital to keep taking it daily. Include changes like physical exercise, weight loss, cessation of smoking, reduction in alcohol consumption, and reduction of salt in your diet, as your doctor has recommended.
Let your doctor know if you have any kidney or liver complications before taking this medication. Before taking it, pregnant or breastfeeding mothers must check with the doctor. Your doctor can monitor your kidney function, blood pressure, and levels of potassium in your blood at periodically when you are taking this medication.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Micardis tab 80 mg Drug Interactions
Drug to drug interaction reaction of Micardis tab 80 mg varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
Potassium sparing diuretics
Potassium supplements and salt substitutes containing potassium
Digoxin
Lithium
NSAIDs
ACE inhibitors
Direct renin-inhibitor aliskiren

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Avoid drinking alcohol. It can further lower your blood pressure and may exaggerate some of the side effects of Tolura 40mg Tablet 30s.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
The use of Tolura 40mg Tablet 30s is not recommended in the first trimester and it is not allowed during the second and third trimester. It is proved that Tolura 40mg Tablet 30s will exert toxic effects on the human foetus during the second and third trimester.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
There is no information available regarding the use of Tolura 40mg Tablet 30s during breast-feeding, therefore, it is not recommended. Alternative treatments with better-established safety profiles during breast-feeding are preferable.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Tolura 40mg Tablet 30s may cause side effects such as dizziness or drowsiness, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Safe If Prescribed)
Tolura 40mg Tablet 30s effectively and safely reduces blood pressure and brought about the regression of proteinuria in diabetic and non-diabetic, hypertensive, proteinuric patients with chronic kidney disease, even in those with mild-to-moderate chronic renal failure.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Occasional elevations of liver chemistries occurred in patients treated with Tolura 40mg Tablet 30s. Dose adjustment may be required in patients with mild to moderate liver impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment.

Take Tolura 80mg Tablet at the same time each day to help you to remember to take it.
Use of Tolura 80mg Tablet may cause a rapid decrease in your condition. Rise carefully, If you've been sitting or laying down, to avoid dizziness or fainting
May cause dizziness. Use Tolura 80mg Tablet with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention until you know how it affects you.
Regular blood tests will be conducted to monitor levels of urea, creatinine, and potassium.
Avoid taking anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen together with Tolura 80mg Tablet without your doctors consultation.
Potassium levels may rise. Do not eat foods or supplemets high in potassium, like bananas and broccoli.
