Trustiva Tablet is a combination of antiretroviral medicines. It should be taken in an empty stomach for better efficiency. Taking these medication on a daily basis at the same time improves their efficiency. You should not skip a dose of this medication as it will affect your recovery. It is necessary to complete the full course of treatment until you are told by your doctor to stop it.
While on this medication, in general, some people might experience bone pain. You should take calcium and vitamin D supplements as advised by your doctor to cope with this. Birth control pills are ineffective with this medication, so other reliable birth control pills must be used.
Before beginning the course of treatment, you can contact your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you have kidney, liver or bone problems.
