Introduction of Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip)
Celebrex 400mg Capsule is a dietary supplement that may be taken with or without meals. You should take it as directed by your doctor on a regular basis. Depending on your pain level and requirements, your doctor may adjust the amount and duration between doses. Do not take more or use it for longer than your doctor recommends.
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew or crush the capsule. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Celebrex may cause certain side effects such as:
1. Bronchitis
2. Sinusitis
3. UTI
4. Insomnia
5. Hypertension
6. Cough
7. Vomiting
8. Abdominal pain
9. Diarrhea
While some of the above symptoms could be common, some of the stated adverse effects rarely occur. If you experience any side effects (whether or not it is included in the above list), pleaseconsult a doctor immediately. The above list is not exhaustive, and you are advised to report any untoward symptoms to a doctor. These side effects will become progressively severe if the drug is continued for a longer timeframe.
Precautionary Steps of Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip)
Before taking Celebrex, please refer to a doctor if you have any of these conditions.
Contraindications:
· Hypersensitivity to celecoxib
· Hypersensitivity to sulfonamides
· Allergy to aspirin or NSAIDs, including other COX-2 inhibitors
· Cardiovascular disease
Interactions:
Interactions with food and drugs differ on an individual basis. You are advised to ask your doctor about any possible interactions before taking Celebrex.
· Lithium
· Antihypertensives
· Cyclosporine
· Metoprolol
· Furosemide
· Thiazides
· Oral anticoagulants

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) should not be used with alcohol. Alcohol intake is one of the risk factors for upper and lower gastrointestinal complications such as perforations, ulcers or bleedings. Consuming Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) with alcohol may increase the likelihood of developing the complications.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) must be used with care during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies demonstrate adverse effects on the fetus, and there are no adequate studies in pregnant women before 30 weeks of gestation. In women after 30 weeks of gestation, there is evidence of adverse effects on the fetal renal system and premature closure of the ductus arteriosus. This medication should only be used after the benefits and risks have been weighed properly. Please consult your doctor before using it.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) is shown to be excreted at concentration similar to that in the plasma in the milk of rats. Although it is said that there is very little excretion of Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) into human breast milk, it is not advisable for women to breastfeed while consuming Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip).
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with kidney impairment. Dose adjustment of Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) is needed. However, it is contraindicated if patients have severe kidney impairment. Please consult your doctor before use.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with mild or moderate liver disorder. Dose adjustment of Celebrex 400mg Capsule 10s (strip) is needed. However, it is contraindicated if patients have severe liver impairment Please consult your doctor.
Quick Tips
May cause dizziness. Use Celebrex 400mg Capsule with caution when driving or doing activities that require attention.
Do not drink alcohol while on Celebrex 400mg Capsule as it may further affect your condition.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advised especially in first two weeks following therapy.
Inform your doctor if you have history of stomach ulcers, heart problems, high blood pressure, liver or renal illness.
Regular blood tests may be conducted to evaluate your liver function throughout long-term therapy.
Avoid Celebrex 400mg Capsule if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding
