It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s. Alcohol intoxication can increase the risk of lactic acidosis particularly in case of fasting, malnutrition or hepatic impairment.
Pregnancy Warning(Maybe Safe)
Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s should be safe to use during pregnancy because either animal or human studies have not shown any adverse effects on the fetus, however, uncontrolled hyperglycemia in people with PCOS can increase the risk of congenital abnormalities and intrauterine death.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited Data)
Limited human studies suggest that Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s does not represent a significant risk to the baby when used during pregnancy. In regards to limited data, please consult your doctor to decide on discontinuation of breastfeeding or Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(High Risk)
Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease, especially in patients with creatinine clearance less than 60mL/min. Patients with severe kidney disease has high risk to get lactic acidosis. Dose adjustment of Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s and regular check up to monitor renal function may be needed. Please consult your doctor before consumption.
Liver Warning(Limited Data)
Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s should be used with caution in patients with liver disease due to increased risk of lactic acidosis. Hence liver function test should be done before initiating Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s. Discontinuation of Glucophage 850mg Tablet 100s may be needed if there is deterioration of liver function. Please consult your doctor.

Quick Tips
Do not disregard any feeling of deep or fast breathing, prolonged nausea, or vomiting, since these symptoms may be indications of lactic acidosis, a potentially fatal disease called lactic acidosis.
