Alcohol Warning(Not Advisable)
Alcohol may accentuate hypoglycaemic effect caused by Minidiab 5mg Tablet 160s. Thus, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment with Minidiab 5mg Tablet 160s.
Pregnancy Warning(Not Safe)
Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicities and prolonged severe hypoglycaemia has been reported in newborns to mother receiving Minidiab 5mg Tablet 160s at time of delivery. Thus, it is contraindicated during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding Warning(Not Advisable)
There are no data on the effect of Minidiab 5mg Tablet 160s upon breastfed babies. Thus, Minidiab 5mg Tablet 160s is contraindicated during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Minidiab 5mg Tablet 160s usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(High Risk)
Dose adjustment may be needed in patients with moderate kidney impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney impairment. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning(Use With Care)
Dose adjustment may be needed in patients with moderate liver impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment. Please consult your doctor.

Minidiab 5mg Tablet can be taken on its own or in combination with other medications. It's best to take it first thing in the morning. To receive the best benefit, take it at the same time every day. Even if you feel OK or your blood sugar levels are under control, keep taking this drug. If you stop taking it without first visiting a doctor, your blood sugar levels may rise, putting you at risk for kidney damage, blindness, nerve difficulties, and limb loss
How To Use Minidiab 5mg Tablet 160s
This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Quick Tips
It's best to take it right before or with your first large meal of the day (usually breakfast). It's best not to skip meals.
Until you know how this medication affects you, exercise caution when driving or operating machinery.
When combined with other anti-diabetic medications, alcohol, or if you skip or delay a meal, it might cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
If you develop hypoglycemia symptoms like cold sweats, pale complexion, tremor, or anxiety, keep some sweet food or fruit juice on hand.
Your liver function may be checked on a regular basis by your doctor. If you experience symptoms like abdominal pain, lack of appetite, or yellowing of the eyes or skin, contact your doctor very away (jaundice).
