Drive key decisions in the company through deep understanding of data
DoctorOnCall is Malaysia’s largest digital healthcare platform. We are building the country’s digital hospital and digital pharmacy to enable healthcare anytime, anywhere. We are currently growing our team to deliver resilient digital healthcare services such as online consultation, medicine delivery, doctor booking, health screening and health content. The data analytics team would drive key decisions in the company through deep understanding of data.
Duties:
Participate in the entire application lifecycle of implementing digital applications from plan, design, build, test, deploy and maintain with focus on data analytics aspect
Work across the entire data analytics lifecycle including
Data Acquisition and Cleaning
Data Storage
Data Curation and Enrichment
Data Analysis and Interpretation
Insights Execution and Results Tracking
Work as part of a dynamic, interactive Agile team developing and delivering digital services while also able to work independently
Reason logically and creatively, identifying problems, drawing valid conclusions from the data available, and developing effective solutions while applying creative thinking in the design and development of high performing solutions.
Gather and address technical and design requirements.
Maintain databases across different platforms.
Technical Requirements:
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Commercial experience with NodeJS or and ExpressJS or equivalent
Experience with relational databases PostgreSQL
Experience with NoSQL databases like Google Firebase or MongoDB
Ability to create and maintain backend REST API
Ability to integrate different REST API from a wide ecosystem
Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Additional Experience Considerations:
Previous experience on eCommerce platforms e.g. Magento, Shopify
Previous experience on any sort of booking, listing platforms
Familiar with Javascript coding standards
Experience with automation tools e.g. Puppeteer
Experience in Javascript, HTML5, CSS3
Experience with AMP HTML a plus
Experience with Search Engine Optimization a plus
Advantage with Statistics, Math or Data Science background
