Responsibilities:
Ensure the team performs compliant and timely monthly closing of financial books.
Responsible to lead, guide and manage the team on daily basis to ensure tasks are completed correctly and timely.
Prepare quality quarterly report, financial statements and annual report in compliance with MFRS, Companies Act 2016 in a timely manner.
Prepare insightful analysis of numbers to provide value-added information.
Ensure controls are operating effectively and comply with policies and regulatory requirements for financial related matters.
Must be expert in accounting treatment and finance processes, providing advise with relevance to business and compliance to MFRS, company control and policies, Companies Act 2016, as well as other regulations
Key liaison person for external auditors, tax and reporting to Shareholders.
Manage the development of staffs under financial reporting team.
Prepare papers for board and accounting papers as and when required.
Key Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/professional qualification recognized by MIA.
At least 5 to 8 years of working experience in financial reporting, experience in audit and listed company will be added advantage
Proficient with MS Office,
Ability to understand the business and lead/guide the finance team.
Meticulous, independent, organized and ability to interact at all levels
